How to Organise and Edit Screenshots for Stitching
Here, you’ll see the images you’ve selected at Home, which form the image list for stitching. Before processing the images on the next page, you can fix the image order and edit any of them as needed.
Viewing Images
You can do the following to view the images:

| Double-tap an image | Do it to zoom in, and do it again to zoom out. |
| Pinch an image | Pinch with two fingers to freely zoom in and out. |
Tap Image Info ⓘ button(on menu or an image) | Switch between the display of image name, dimensions, or date. |
Tap Long-image indicator (if any) | View full content of the image. |
These actions work even under edit modes.
Image Count & Error Fixing
The page tab shows the image count. If it turns red with an exclamation mark, there are issues with the images. For example, Breezyone might think the images aren’t suitable for stitching together because their widths or heights differ too much.
💬 Remark
If the count shows
3!, it means that errors are found within these three images.
To fix the errors, just tap the Exclamation Mark on each image to see what’s wrong.
Scrolling Direction
By default, the direction is set to go downwards, which is what usually happens when you take screenshots while scrolling from top to bottom. You can change the direction by tapping the list menu button ⇅ at the top.
Even though there are only four main directions to choose from, Breezyone can also handle off-axis deviations for screenshots that are freely scrolled. To do this, just pick the main direction (like up, down, left or right) and ignore any wobbling or skewing. For example, if you scroll down a map and then to the left and right to snap the content, the suitable option is downward.

No matter what direction you choose, make sure the images overlap a bit so Breezyone can spot the overlaps and align them automatically.
Organise Images
You can drag and drop or sort the images to arrange them in the order that the content flows. You can do the following to edit them:

Tap Done menu button | Turn the Edit Mode off. |
| Sort images | Sort all images in name or date order. |
| Drag an image | Drag and drop the image to a particular order on the list. |
Tap ⊖ menu button | Deselect all images. |
Tap ⊖ button on an image | Deselect the image from the list. |
When this Edit Mode is active, all the images will wiggle to show you they are ready for editing.

To save you time checking and organising the images, it is a good idea to take screenshots that match the order of the content. You can find more information on how to do this in this article.
Editing Images
You can crop images to select the content you want, and adjust the image alignment to choose whether to automatically stitch the images together. You can do the following:

Tap ⛶ menu button | Turn the Edit Mode on and off. |
Tap Done menu button | Turn the Edit Mode off. |
| Tap an image | Select the image for editing. Cropmarks will appear around the select image. |
| Drag a cropmark or an image edge along the content direction | Crop the image. Once an image is cropped, its cropmarks will switch their colours. |
| Tap on a cropmark or an image edge | Adjust image alignment. Switch between the following options for how to align two adjacent images and stitch them together: • Auto-align (default) • Direct-align • Must-align |
Tap Reset Selected menu button | Reset the cropping or alignment settings of the selected image. |
Tap Reset All menu button | Reset all the cropping or alignment settings of all images. |
When this Edit Mode is active, the app will pick an image for you to start working on.
🤓 Tip
Here are some situations where you would want to crop images in Breezyone:
- Imagine you have some images with wrapping headings and footings that you don’t need, like when you want to keep slides or carousel photos sideways while stitching them vertically. This way, you won’t have to switch to another app to make edits and then undo all the changes, saving you the trouble.
- If you end up with unwanted bits on the stitched image, cropping them out beforehand can make things look much better.
- If the two images don’t overlap enough to line them up automatically, Breezyone can stitch them together edge-to-edge after you crop them.

🤓 Tip
The default option of automatic image alignment (Auto-align) works great most of the time. However, you may still switch to the other options to adjust the alignment if you see fit:
Option Description Direct-align This disables automatic alignment and joins the two images together edge-to-edge. It is suitable when you have already cropped and aligned the two images in the desired positions. Must-align This is useful when the overlaps between two images are tiny. Breezyone will try stitching together the images with the best possible alignment.
